Art That Blooms in Small Spaces - Our Art Class Journey from the Library and Living Room

Children don’t always need a big studio.

What they truly need is a space where their hearts can open wide.

Here in Albuquerque and Rio Rancho, I started teaching art in a small way — with just four children, meeting at the library’s study room and in the cozy corners of my home.

When they first came, I gently asked them,

“How did you feel when you were drawing this?”

Little by little, they began to express themselves — not to create a “perfect” artwork, but to understand themselves, and to connect with the world inside their friends.

I believe true art education is not about drawing well,

but about developing the courage to express who you are.

Our space is small, but in this space, I hope every child learns how to love who they are and share their story through art.

📍 I currently offer small-group art classes at my home studio and local library.

☀️ We’re now enrolling for the Summer Art Class!
